onCORE Origination, a rapidly growing development services firm in the renewable energy industry, is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team of experienced developers and land agents. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full lifecycle of project management from origination, development to execution.
Source and secure new project opportunities through direct outreach, networking and strong relationships within the industry.
Collaborate with landowners, developers, real estate professionals and other stakeholders to establish beneficial partnerships.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on track and meet set timelines and budgets.
Provide detailed tracking and reports on project status to company executives and stakeholders.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and landowners, promoting the onCORE brand.
Conduct thorough research on markets and properties using various GIS tools.
Exercise of discretion and independent judgment to create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Exercise of discretion and independent judgment to identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the customer.
Exercise of discretion and independent judgment to effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
Engage in Business Development activities to grow the account. Inclusive of customer meetings, customer/vendor entertainment and industry events.
Exercise of discretion and independent judgment to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project.
Follow up with customers, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
Manage the project P&L.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project origination, development or project management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Proven track record of sourcing and securing deals.
Solid understanding of renewable energy market dynamics and regulatory environment.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in managing and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
Proficiency in using project management software and tools such as Google Suite
Proficiency in using GIS tools. (Experience with Anderson Optimization is a plus)
